Daimler Truck North America is seeking an assembly technician in Byesville, OH to prep and assemble S50/60-cylinder heads using remanufacturing processes. You will inspect components, use hand and air tools, and install components like freeze plugs following workstation instructions to meet quality standards.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within an onsite environment with rotation plans and close collaboration with the DTNA team.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation and using power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for long shifts, with lifting up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in prepping and assembly of engine heads per remanufacturing process.
• Perform visual inspections to meet quality standards.
• Read workstation instructions and use BOMs/drawings as required.
• Operate jigs, hoists, grinders, and other listed tools.
• Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
