Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is seeking an 1st Shift Head Teardown - Assembler/Disassembler. You will disassemble head cores for heavy-duty trucks, log quality data, and use drawings and BOMs to ensure accurate parts handling.

The role requires physical work, adherence to safety standards, and potential cross-training on related manufacturing tasks. Starting pay is $18.40/hr with raises to $25.97/hr and quarterly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Must have manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive/trucking environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow standardized work procedures.
• Experience with use of hand tools and power tools in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble head components for heavy-duty trucks in a safe, timely manner.
• Log and inspect head cores, ensuring quality and traceability.
• Use company computer systems to access drawings, BOMs and specs.
• Operate hoists, torches and other equipment per procedures.
• Contribute to safety, attendance, quality and throughput improvements.
