Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is hiring for an assembly associate in Byesville, OH to build DT12 transmissions. You will perform assembly using established procedures, inspect components, and ensure build quality while following work instructions and safety rules.

The role requires a detail-oriented, team-focused candidate prepared for a manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $23.00/hr with top pay $32.46/hr, plus quarterly gainsharing and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation and use of power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet quality standards and support continuous improvement.
• Cross train on other jobs as required.
• Ability to operate riveting, torquing and small power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble the transmission according to work instructions and OE specs.
• Diagnose and correct issues in the build as they arise.
• Read and follow Work Station Instructions and use BOMs/drawings.
• Use computer systems to access data for assembly processes.
• Inspect parts and ensure conformance to standards.
• Collaborate with team and maintain attendance and safety.
