Young Truck & Trailer Center - Kaysville is actively seeking a Refuse Truck Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain refuse trucks and their equipment. You will help keep vehicles operating safely by servicing truck systems, hydraulic components, and refuse collection equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience on diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, or automotive technician roles preferred.
• Experience working on refuse trucks or specialized equipment is a plus.
• Strong diagnostics and repair skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair refuse trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive service.
• Repair and maintain diesel engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair refuse truck equipment including lifting mechanisms and compactors.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure vehicles are ready for operation.
