Job summary

FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. This role supports customers by phone or in person, selling parts based on identified needs and part availability to help FleetPride profit.

Duties include locating parts, pricing, handling warranties, and promoting related items. Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years in sales, with basic Windows XP and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Intermediate familiarity with Windows XP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong listening and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone or in person to determine and obtain heavy-duty parts.
• Suggest related parts to provide full service and maximize sales.
• Locate and obtain ordered parts from central warehouse or branch.
• Determine sales prices following company procedures.
• Handle warranty or defective parts per procedures.
• Process approved credits for returned merchandise.
• Answer questions about products, prices, and availability.
• Keep display areas clean and attractive to encourage sales.
