Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to help customers identify and obtain heavy-duty parts by phone or in person. You will recommend related products, locate parts from warehouses or branches, and price each sale following company procedures.

You’ll also handle warranty items and processing credits as needed. The role requires at least a high school diploma, two years of sales experience (heavy-duty parts preferred), and solid familiarity with Windows XP and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales; sales of heavy-duty automotive parts preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge level of Windows XP (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Active listening and strong communication skills; time management and persuasion abilities.

Responsibilities

• Help determine and obtain heavy duty parts for customers as requested by phone or in person.
• Suggest sale of related parts for full service.
• Locate and obtain ordered part for customer from central warehouse or branch.
• Determine sales price for customers for each sale in accordance with company procedure.
• Handle warranty or defective parts for customers in accordance with company procedure.
