Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment and heavy-duty truck repair.
• Proficient in hydraulics, diesel engines, welding, and fabrication.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime.
• Proof of mechanical training and certification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Interstate DOT Medical Card and FMCSA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review repair requests and discuss options with Shop Manager.
• Inspect and service trucks, trailers, drilling rigs, and support equipment.
• Perform DOT inspections on commercial and non-commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain communication with Shop Manager and operators.
• Oversee parts requisition and documentation of work orders.
• Ensure all work complies with safety policies and quality standards.
