Join a team under the Alaska DOT&PF working on heavy and light equipment for roads and airports. This role requires diagnosing transmissions, drivetrains, engines, emissions, and hydraulic systems, with travel to remote locations possible.

Responsibilities

• Professionally maintain all heavy-duty and light-duty equipment and vehicles used in road and airport maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair unusual or complex equipment problems.
• Diagnose, maintain, repair and modify transmissions, drive trains, suspension, engines and emissions, plus hydraulic, fuel injection, brakes and electrical systems.
