Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a dishwashing associate to support our Harrah’s/Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe kitchen. You will load and operate dishwashing equipment, wash pots and utensils, and carefully handle china and glassware to prevent breakage.

You’ll help keep the area clean and support smooth service operations. No prior experience is required, and the role accommodates bilingual workers who can follow directions in English or Spanish.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads and operates dishwashing and silver burnishing equipment.


• Washes pots and other cooking utensils.


• Carefully handles and loads china and glassware according to correct procedures to minimize breakage.


• Transports dishes, silver, glassware and other utensils and accessories.


• Keeps immediate work area clean.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred


• No previous experience necessary


• Ability to follow directions in English or Spanish


• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift, push and pull 50 lbs.


• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours


• Mobility and dexterity to load, unload and transport dishes


• Ability to push/pull heavy carts and racks up to 50 pounds


• Mobility to move quickly and easily throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas


• Ability to grasp, finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination


• Ability to hear and use visual inspection


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach and climb stairs
