Job summary

Harrah's Resort Southern California is hiring a Cleaner Heavy Duty Spec Steward Grave- Full time, to perform deep cleaning of Food Department back-of-house areas and equipment in compliance with health standards.

The role requires six months of kitchen experience, ability to work any day/shift, and strong teamwork. Candidates must maintain a professional appearance and obtain a Food Handler’s Card.

Qualifications

• Six months previous kitchen worker experience is required.
• Ability to understand and speak English, is preferred.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to receive and maintain a Food Handler’s Card.

Responsibilities

• Degrease, clean, and polish kitchen hoods, equipment, pipes, refrigerators, grills, stoves, fryers, broilers, burners, ovens, flat tops, rubber mats, and all prep areas.
• Clean and polish tables, counters, shelves, steam tables, and hand sinks.
• Clean all air vents and a/c registers.
• Remove all garbage, wash trash cans, and replace liners.
• Sweep, wipe down, soak and machine scrub floors with degreaser to remove gum/substances.
• Clean and pour enzymes in drains.
• Filter or replace oil from kitchen fryers using proper equipment procedures.
• In charge of cleaning the entire kitchen, hallways, and casino bars.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
