Job summary

Eversource seeks a skilled garage mechanic for 2nd shift to inspect, maintain and repair automotive and heavy equipment, including hydraulic systems. You will diagnose issues, perform transmission work, and handle emergency and planned overtime as required.

Qualified candidates have 4.5 years of relevant experience, a high school or vocational diploma with one year of trade school, and CDL eligibility. Travel between MA/CT/NH may be required.

Qualifications

• Four and one-half years of experience as a fully qualified garage mechanic.
• Education and training equivalent to high school or vocational school, plus one-year trade school.
• Must be qualified to hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair automotive and heavy equipment and related components.
• Diagnose operating deficiencies in automotive and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform transmissions work and other assigned maintenance/overtime as needed.
