Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled forklift operator to move drill pipe, tubular products, and other heavy materials. You will load/unload trucks, stage materials for production and shipping, and keep yards and production areas organized and safe.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty forklifts to safely transport drill pipe, tubular products, and other heavy materials

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

• Stage materials for production and shipping

• Move and organize materials throughout the yard and production areas

• Inspect equipment before use and report any safety or mechanical concerns

• Follow all safety procedures when handling oversized and heavy loads

• Assist with general material handling and production support as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Heavy-duty forklift experience strongly preferred

• Experience handling tubular products, drill pipe, or similar heavy materials is highly preferred

• Experience operating large-capacity forklifts; equipment may include enclosed-cab Taylor forklifts with capacities up to 35,000 lbs

• Previous experience operating smaller forklifts is a strong plus

• Previous experience in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or similar positions is a plus

• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred

• Excellent safety awareness and attention to surroundings

• Ability to safely handle heavy and oversized materials

• Dependable work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
