• Inspects the forklift prior start the shift and fill out the check list.
• Maintains fluid, fuel and lubrication levels on equipment being operated.
• Reports any mechanical, electrical or safety problems to Foreman and Maintenance.
• Submits reports and documentation concerning loading to Foreman or Supervision.
• Communicates by radio with production to keep buildings running properly.
• Communicates by radio with shipping team to execute the shipping process properly.
• Maintains production buildings with entry tables full and exit tables empty.
• Delivers documentation to truck drivers as required.
• Inspects product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Transports pipe from production buildings to the racks.
• Transports pipe from the racks to trucks.
• Loads trucks with pipe from shipping bay or stocking area.
• Completes assignments given by Supervisor, including those not listed in this description

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand the Standard Operating Procedure for the position held.
• At least six (6) months as heavy-duty equipment operator or heavy forklift operator.
• Must follow basic Safety Rules and Regulations.

The employee frequently is required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
