Waste Pro in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic A / Heavy-Duty Fleet Technician to diagnose and repair diesel trucks, CNG vehicles, hydraulic and electrical systems. The role requires hands-on expertise with Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Autocar fleets at the West Palm Beach maintenance facility.

Offers $35.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Three to five years of hands-on maintenance and repair experience with medium- and heavy-duty Class 8 vehicles.
CDL Class B license preferred, or ability to obtain one.
Seven ASE certifications, or equivalent, within 36 months of employment.
OSHA safety compliance knowledge for fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel trucks and CNG vehicles at West Palm Beach facility.
Perform drivetrain, engine, transmission inspections and repairs.
Maintain safety standards and document work in maintenance systems.
