Job summary

Waste Pro USA is hiring a Diesel Mechanic A / Heavy‑Duty Fleet Technician in West Palm Beach, FL to service and repair diesel trucks, CNG vehicles, hydraulic and electrical systems. You’ll work on a diverse fleet including Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Autocar, and more, with numerous ASE‑aligned growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands‑on experience, CDL‑B preferred, and a path toward ASE certifications. Relocation and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus support qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands‑on experience in maintenance and repair of medium- and heavy‑duty Class 8 vehicles and equipment.
• CDL Class B license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain seven ASE Certifications within 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform drivetrain inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Perform general engine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Inspect and repair transmissions.
• Review outside repair inspection results as needed.
• Assess structural damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Provide guidance to shop technicians in the team.
