Job summary

JCB North America is seeking a skilled Repair Technician to perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on construction and military equipment at our Pooler, GA headquarters. You will diagnose defects, perform rework and retrofits, and ensure products meet safety and performance standards in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Candidate must be a certified hands-on mechanic with strong troubleshooting skills; a minimum of 3 years of experience and forklift certification are

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanic certification (automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or equivalent) required.
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience repairing or assembling heavy equipment or complex mechanical systems.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks, plus any required assessments.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic defects.
Perform rework, retrofits, and modifications in the Assembly Repair area.
Conduct diagnostic testing using appropriate tools and documentation.
Maintain clean, safe work area and follow SOPs and safety protocols.
Support production goals by responding quickly to repair needs to minimize downtime.
