Job summary

Knife River Northwest is seeking a Mechanic in Oregon to maintain and repair construction and mining equipment, including hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, undercarriage, engine and powertrain systems. Basic welding and the use of diagnostic software are required; work may be in a shop or field environment.

The role offers a night shift from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday with flexible hours. A wage range of $26.91–$44.90 per hour plus a $3 night differential is provided, along with a

• Previous mechanical experience on construction equipment.
• Some truck repair experience preferred.
• Must have own hand tools. Company provides large and specialty tooling.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional and drug screen.
• Display a professional, safe, and courteous attitude.
