Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic for the graveyard shift in Beaverton, Oregon. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of construction and mining equipment, with flexible hours from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday to Friday.

Candidates should have previous mechanical experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check. The position offers a wage range of $26.91 - $44.90, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical experience on construction equipment, truck repair experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of construction and mining equipment.
• Hydraulics, electrical, HVAC systems, undercarriage, engine, and powertrain repairs.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (Graveyard SHIFT)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintenance and repair ofconstruction and mining equipment
• Hydraulics, electrical, HVAC systems,undercarriage,engine, and powertrain repairs
• Basic welding ability
• Shop or field environment
• Ability to use diagnostic software
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties assigned

Hours: 8:30PM-5:00AM Monday to Friday, hours and days flexible

Wage Range –$26.91 -$44.90

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous mechanical experience on construction equipment. Some truck repair experience preferred
• Must have own hand tools. Company provides large and specialty tooling
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional and drug screen
• Display a professional, safe, and courteous attitude
