Job summary

Knife River Northwest in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a full-time Mechanic to maintain and repair construction and mining equipment in a shop or field setting. Diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, undercarriage, engine and powertrain repairs are part of the role.

The position offers a 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule, Monday–Friday with some flexibility. Wage range is $26.91–$44.90 per hour plus a $3 night shift differential.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical experience on construction equipment.
• Must have own hand tools. Company provides large and specialty tooling.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional and drug screen.
• Display a professional, safe, and courteous attitude.
