Ryder System, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to perform vehicle maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.
• Must be able to pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
