Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment under limited supervision. You will ensure compliance with regulations and document work orders, with potential road call work.

Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00pm–3:30am. Benefits from Day 1 include health, uniforms, and boot allowance. Requires HS diploma and 5–7 years of vehicle repair experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
• Experience with PMs, brakes, electrical diagnostics and A/C systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet tractors, trailers and refrigeration units.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and critical components.
• Maintain licensing/registration and roadworthy status.
• Document and close work orders; perform road calls when needed.
• Train other employees and perform related duties.
