Qualifications

• Proficient in diagnosing diesel and gasoline engine systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot using manual and computerized tools.
• Meticulous in repairs to ensure safety and performance.
• Strong problem-solving with complex vehicle systems.
• Skilled with hand and power tools.
• Clear communication of issues to customers and staff.
• Able to work in varied environments and lift heavy parts.
• ASE Medium-Heavy Truck certification or equivalent often required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, lubrication.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel issues using diagnostic tools.
• Replace parts such as brakes, transmissions, engines, A/C systems, and electrical components.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and readiness.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and safety compliance.
• Maintain logs of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Coordinate with fleet managers to schedule services and minimize downtime.
• Communicate service needs and issues to drivers and customers.
• Stay updated on Mack technology, safety standards, and repair procedures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
