Job description

Location: Anchorage Alaska
Wage: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday (with overtime when needed) times and days can vary based on seasonality expectations of our clients

Are you an experience heavy duty mechanic looking to join a reliable team that values safety, quality, and work-life balance? We are hiring a full time Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service and repair a variety of heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks, fleet trucks, small equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Maintain accurate service records and work logs in software
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
  • Collaboration with operators and supervisors to keep equipment in peak condition

Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (or Red Seal preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Valid driver's license (Class A/B CDL preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
