Job summary

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Red Seal in Heavy Duty Mechanics.
• Certificate of Apprenticeship.
• Provincial Instructors Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years’ journeyperson experience in Heavy Duty/Commercial Transport Mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare learning materials for instructional environments and address diverse learning needs.
• Teach in assigned HD/CT subject areas and communicate learning outcomes and assessments.
• Design and conduct evaluations and submit grades in a timely manner; maintain records.
• Advise on inventories, enrollment management, and safety concerns; participate in department activities.
