Job summary

SelecTransportation Resources, LLC. seeks a detail-oriented Collision Estimator to join our body shop team in Houston. You will assess collision-related repairs on heavy-duty trucks and buses, then prepare accurate estimates using CCC ONE or Mitchell, communicating clearly with customers and insurers.

This role requires strong organizational skills and independence in a fast-paced environment, with ongoing training and opportunities for growth within our dealership network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a collision estimator, preferably in heavy-duty trucks, buses, or commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, damage assessment, and repair procedures.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as CCC ONE, Mitchell, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged heavy-duty trucks and buses to assess the extent of collision-related repairs
• Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software
• Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians regarding repair scope and costs
• Coordinate with body shop staff to ensure timely and efficient repairs
• Review repair procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Document all repair estimates and maintain organized records for each vehicle
• Assist in parts ordering and tracking to facilitate smooth repair processes
• Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and insurance requirements
