Kids for the Future is seeking a full-time kitchen support role in Mesquite, NV. Base pay is $15.00 per hour with varied shifts, including weekends. The position emphasizes sanitation, dishwashing, and maintaining clean food service areas in a health-conscious environment.

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a high volume kitchen preferred, but not required.
Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a current Southern Nevada Health Card
Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral. Fluency in English required. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations. Requires the ability to understand and follow policies and standard operating procedures and be adept and proactive in problem solving. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see and hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee must be able to lift, carry, pull and push objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee will be trained in chemical use and must use proper protective equipment while performing job duties. Must be able to work in humid conditions and it both extremely hot or/and cold temperatures.
