Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Structures Estimator to join our Salt Lake City team. You will lead the estimation process for complex bridge and heavy-structure projects from early design through final bid, collaborating with PMs, engineers, and architects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, specializing in heavy structures and bridges.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (D/B, CMAR, CMGC, hard bid, Progressive Design Build).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Job Details

We’re searching for an Estimator with expertise in bridge structures and alternative delivery methods.

Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structures estimation process for a diverse portfolio of complex construction projects.
• Utilize your expertise in Design Build (D/B), Construction Management at Risk (CMAR), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC), hard bid, and Progressive Design Build methodologies to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for materials, labor, equipment, and schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to navigate design and construction challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with all company standards and industry regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators, contributing to their professional growth and development.

What We’re Looking For
