Job summary

Gregory Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil projects in the Southeast, with emphasis on Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. You will oversee self-performed scopes and coordinate with field crews, engineers, and clients to deliver safety-focused, on-time, and on-budget results.

This role requires 5–10+ years of PM experience in heavy civil construction, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage schedules, costs, and contracts.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of Project Management experience within heavy civil construction.
  • Experience managing self-performed construction operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing field crews, equipment, production, schedules, and project costs.
  • Experience with underground utilities, wet utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage), earthwork, grading, site development, concrete, duct banks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee heavy civil projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee self-performed scopes including utilities, earthwork, grading, and site development.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost projections; manage risks.
