Job summary

Kinsley Construction is a full-service construction company seeking a driven Project Manager for our Heavy Civil team. You will oversee the project from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with the Project Superintendent and subcontractors, handling scheduling and cost analysis.

A successful candidate will preferably have Heavy Civil experience and hold an Engineering or Construction Management degree, along with field experience.

Qualifications

• Prior Project Management experience strongly preferred.
• Prior field construction experience preferred.
• Experience with Sitework, Utilities, Highway and Bridges preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with all personnel within the organization and facilitate communication effectively.
• 2-4 Year post-secondary degree or relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex construction documents and drawings.
• Review and process contract documents.
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain contract documents and shop drawings.
• Assist with change order requests for client approval, coordinate estimating with the project estimator or subcontractors, and document owner directed changes to the contract scope or original design.
• Development, monitoring and updating of the project schedule.
• Job Cost Analysis and Reporting.
• Setup and maintain job files.
• Assist in the preparation of the project close-out manuals.
• Assist in developing a project punch list as well as assuring that all items on the list are complete in timely manner.
• Assist with Quality Control including preparatory meetings and final inspections.
• Originate and/or review, submit, log and distribute RFI's and the RFI responses.
