Jobot is seeking a Project Manager (Heavy Civil) in Pleasant Hill, CA. This hybrid, permanent role offers $140,000–$180,000/year with generous bonuses and profit sharing.

You will oversee private and public civil projects, handle cost/schedule/quality, and manage owner relationships. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil contracting, with hands-on experience in grading, utilities, paving, and concrete.

Formación

• Requires 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a heavy civil contractor.
• Experience with grading, underground utilities, paving, and concrete scopes.
• Experience in both public and private work is preferred; knowledge of how contracts differ.

Responsabilidades

• Manage projects from estimate turnover through closeout, including budget, schedule, scope, and quality.
• Serve as main contact for owner, owner's representative, engineers, and design team.
• Lead project meetings and maintain schedules to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
• Track job costs, forecast cost to complete, and report financial performance to leadership.
• Write and manage subcontracts and purchase orders; coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify, price, negotiate, and document change orders and extra work.
• Prepare monthly progress billings and manage retention and collections through closeout.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, permits, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with superintendents and foremen on production, safety, and field planning.
