Job summary

You will participate in field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, and coordinating with suppliers, while traveling as needed to project

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel/relocate as needed.
• Full-time availability during summer (May–August).
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related.
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in varying environments.
• Demonstrated motivation and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, operation planning, cost control, scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, contract administration, and supervision of field activities.
• Perform engineering tasks using standard techniques and solve routine problems on site.
• Maintain records of job progress, costs, material usage, and related data.
• Plan and schedule job segments and activities.
• Investigate issues and propose solutions or alternatives.
• Review plans and specifications for material requirements and pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
