Job summary

Kiewit invites motivated students to join the Central District as an internship, gaining hands-on exposure to construction management. You will participate in field and office activities, including planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement, while developing professional skills and safety awareness across multiple project sites.

This internship requires travel/relocation as business needs dictate, with a May–August summer schedule and a competitive hourly base compensation.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel/relocate as needed.
• Full-time availability during the summer (approximately May–August).
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related.
• Ability to access construction sites in varied climates and environments.
• Demonstrated work ethic, ethics and integrity, safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, and material procurement.
• Support contract administration and supervision of field activities.
• Maintain project records on progress and costs.
