Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a heavy civil estimator to prepare estimates, takeoffs and bids for complex projects in North Carolina.

The role requires reading civil plans, analyzing costs, and coordinating with subcontractors to optimize pricing and value engineering. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of heavy civil estimating experience, proficiency with Agtek, and a solid understanding of labor, materials, and production rates.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of heavy civil estimating experience.
• Experience with Agtek required; HCSS preferred.
• Strong ability to read civil plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
