Job summary

PrimECS is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the Construction Operations Division, overseeing field operations in heavy civil projects such as roads, bridges, rail, and tunnels. The role combines planning with hands-on leadership to ensure safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate with engineering, surveying, field testing, and remote teams, mentor staff, and participate in proposals and risk management to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction management, or a related field is required; extensive experience may substitute.
• 10+ years in heavy civil construction management leading field operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Construction Operations Division to meet client requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee field construction and support operations, including surveying, testing, and inspections.
• Coordinate with remote engineering teams for technical support.
• Ensure seamless integration between project management and fieldwork with clients.
• Mentor and grow the team for future leadership roles.
• Assist in proposals, bids, and estimates with the Bidding Department.
