Job summary

PrimECS, LLC is seeking a General Foreman/Operator with extensive experience in Heavy Civil Construction to join our MD, DC and VA based team. You will oversee daily field activities, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, producing crew schedules, supervising and mentoring workers, ensuring adequate manpower and materials, and enforcing safety and quality protocols across all operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a heavy civil construction foreman.
• Expertise in grading and pipe installation.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Aptitude in math with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Physically fit with the stamina required for demanding fieldwork.
