Job summary

PrimECS, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Project Superintendent to lead field operations on the East Coast. This senior role oversees crews, coordinates with clients and engineers, and drives safety, schedule, and quality from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy civil supervision, deep knowledge of construction methods, and proven leadership. Travel across the East Coast and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in heavy civil construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of methods, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse crews.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Valid driver's license with flexibility to travel across the East Coast as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily field operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Develop and manage project schedules, track progress, and provide regular reports to management.
• Coordinate efforts between engineers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve issues.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material usage to ensure efficiency and cost control.
• Oversee inspections, permitting, and risk management processes to maintain compliance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to crews, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
• Support company growth initiatives by representing PrimECS and building strong client relationships.
