S.E.T., Inc. is seeking Construction Laborers for heavy highway and civil projects across Ohio and Western PA. The role supports traffic control, underground utilities, concrete work, asphalt paving, and general site tasks on active projects.

This is a union position under LIUNA with union scale wages and a full fringe benefits package. Overtime, travel pay, and out-of-town per diem are provided as needed.

Formación

• Experience in heavy highway, civil, or underground construction (1–3 years, or willingness to learn).
• Ability to read grade stakes, cut sheets, and basic plan information.
• Familiarity with work zone setup and MOT standards.
• Comfortable around heavy equipment, live traffic, and open excavations.

Responsabilidades

• Set and maintain work zone traffic control (cones, drums, barricades, signage).
• Assist underground utility installation and pipe laying tasks.
• Perform concrete work including forms and finishing.
• Support asphalt paving operations and hand excavation.
• Handle labor across grading, saw cutting, and equipment operation.
• Load/unload materials and maintain site cleanliness.
• Follow safety policies, JSAs, and toolbox talks.
