Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking skilled laborers for field-based heavy civil and highway construction projects. You will participate in site safety, environmental protection, and the construction of challenging projects, including road widening and bridge work. Experience with working at heights and with manlifts is a plus.

The role requires reliability, OSHA compliance, and the ability to work independently with occasional long hours and weekend work in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
• Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects.
• Maintains a clean and well-organized job site: store materials, pick up debris, dispose waste, secure tools and supplies.
• Road widening, highway, road/street or bridge build and rehabilitation projects.
• Help Foremen and Supervisors as needed.
• Laborers may assist with traffic control and/or flagging operations.
• Secure and store all tools, equipment, and materials at end of day.
