Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking skilled laborers for field-based heavy civil, roadway, and bridge projects in Orlando, FL. You will participate in site safety, environment protection, and on-site construction activities, including material handling, tool storage, and assisting foremen.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors in heat and humidity, lift heavy objects, and follow OSHA safety policies. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred; construction experience is

Qualifications

• Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license prior to employment.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects.
• Maintains a clean and well-organized job site: properly store consumable materials, picks up debris and waste for proper disposal, maintains equipment appearance and secures/stores small tools and supplies.
• Performs materials handling and storage.
• Road widening, highway, road/street or bridge build and rehabilitation projects.
• Helping Foremen and other Supervisors as needed.
• Laborers may be required to assist with traffic control and/or flagging operations.
• Properly secure and store all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each work day.
• Understand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries.
