Job summary

Americase is seeking a Heavy Assembler to support the welding department on the Waxahachie, Texas production floor. You will prepare, position, fit, and assemble heavy-duty metal components, working alongside welders and fabricators to keep units moving safely and efficiently through the line.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of sustaining manual work, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Willingness to work overtime as workload requires.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
• Weld support: position, align, clamp, and secure components.
• Fit-up: read blueprints and work orders to fit parts to tolerances.
• Material handling: stage raw materials and sub-assemblies.
• Mechanical assembly: install fasteners, hinges, and rivets.
• Grinding/finishing: deburr and prepare welds for finishing.
• Quality checks: inspect fitment and alignment per specs.
• Equipment care: maintain tools and report issues.
• Housekeeping/safety: keep area clean and safe.
• Team collaboration: coordinate with welders and leads to stay on schedule.
