Job summary

ESAB in Denton, Texas is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join the production team. You will assemble the mechanical core of cutting and welding equipment, bringing blueprints to life with precision and care.

The role involves wiring harness tasks and updating control software as required on the shop floor. You'll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools, torque wrenches, and jigs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience assembling mechanical systems or heavy-duty equipment preferred.
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings/BOMs and follow assembly instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to precision.
• Basic electrical assembly experience including wiring harnesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints, exploded views, and diagrams into assembled equipment.
• Assemble housings, mounts, regulators, feed systems, and precision components with hand/power tools.
• Ensure tight tolerances, clean finishes, and rugged reliability.
• Troubleshoot misalignments or faults with engineering/QC as needed.
• Perform basic electrical wiring, harness installation, and connector mounting.
