Job summary

Donaldson is a leading filtration technology company seeking an experienced assembler to build powered and non-powered filtration systems from drawings and simple electrical schematics. The role involves performing functional testing per customer specifications and shaping metal tubing with precision while following SOPs.

You will also operate equipment such as PC, crane, forklift, and other powered tools, inspect work for quality, and ensure safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of assembly experience.
• Flexibility and agility in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, work around loud machinery, and perform repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Interpret assembly drawings and simple electrical schematics to build filtration systems.
• Perform functional testing of filtration systems per customer specifications.
• Form and bend metal tubing and verify dimensions using measurement tools.
• Use basic hand tools, plumbing skills, and thread identification techniques during assembly.
• Operate PC, crane, forklift, and other powered industrial equipment.
• Inspect work for conformance, complete Shop Tags, and meet quality expectations.
• Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming material in real time.
• Follow standard work practices and SOPs to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Pack completed systems for shipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with all EHS and PPE requirements.
