Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Heavy Assembler in Delano, MN. This temp-to-hire, full-time role offers weekly pay and a first shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM ( Fridays optional).

You will work in a team-focused manufacturing environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include assembling components, using hand and air tools, verifying quality, and maintaining 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions.
• Experience using hand and air-powered assembly tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn, cross-train, and work in a team.
• Adherence to safety policies and housekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and subassemblies per production requirements.
• Position parts using templates, measurements and specs.
• Use hand and air tools (including rivet guns) to build products.
• Verify completed components by measuring and inspecting finish.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards.
• Follow quality standards and documentation for customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement.

Compensation: $17.00–$21.00 per hour – paid weekly

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM–10:00 AM
