Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking Mechanical Assemblers in Maple Grove, MN. In this role, you’ll build commercial units and components per engineering specifications while helping ensure quality and production standards are met.

This is a direct hire, full-time position with competitive hourly pay of $22.17–$24.14. You’ll work on a first or second shift, use hand and power tools, and be part of a fast-paced team committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units and components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete precise assembly tasks.
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Identify and report defects, material shortages, and equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following PPE and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related issues and work with the team to resolve problems.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and quality.
