Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Assembler in Maple Grove, MN. You will build commercial units and components per engineering specifications, ensuring quality and production standards are met in a fast-paced team environment.

The role offers a direct hire / full-time path with weekly pay and benefits. You will use hand and power tools, read drawings, and help maintain a safe, productive workplace. Training and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble units/components according to drawings and work instructions.
• Use hand/power tools and measuring devices for precise assembly.
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality and specification compliance.
• Identify defects, material shortages, and equipment issues and report.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE rules.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and work with team to resolve.
• Support continuous improvement to increase efficiency and quality.

What You'll Do as a Mechanical Assembler

• Assemble units and components according to engineering drawings and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete precise assembly tasks
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
• Identify and report defects, material shortages, and equipment issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following PPE and safety requirements
