Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking an Accessory Installer to join our team in the United States. You will install a variety of vehicle accessories on brand-new vehicles from leading manufacturers and gain exposure to the latest automotive technology.

The role requires a valid driver's license, physical stamina, and the ability to follow detailed installation instructions. You will work outdoors and indoors, with overtime when needed and opportunities for career development within a global logistics

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of vehicle accessories per customer specifications.
• Work with vehicles from major automotive and heavy equipment manufacturers.
• Follow safety and training guidelines for each installation.
• Prepare and test installed accessories for proper operation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Accessory Installer, you'll be an integral part of our team, working with vehicles produced by some of the most well-known automotive and heavy equipment manufacturers in the world. This means, you may be among the first to see and work with the latest vehicles and technology hitting the roads!

• Installing a variety of new vehicle accessories, such as: Remote tailgate locks, lighted running boards, illuminated kick plates, step-rails, splash guards, camper shells, decals, bed liners, and other customer specified accessories.

To thrive on our team as an Accessory Installer you are ready and able to have:

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• The ability to follow detailed written training instructions for accessory installation
• A willingness to walk and stand for much of your day
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physical ability: Frequent lifts and carrying of up to 50 pounds for distances of 50 feet, including overhead lifting
• Climbing to and working at heights of up to 15 feet
• Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to fasten, insert, and remove bolts, machine parts and pins, operate and withstand impact, vibration of electric and air-powered power tools
