Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a vehicle customization technician to install, repair, replace or wrap parts and accessories and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will test vehicle performance before and after customization, keep a clean, organized workspace, manage tools and materials, track inventory, and stay current with new techniques through training and workshops.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE A VALID TWIC BADGE.
• Demonstrates the ability to carry out specified work procedures and follows directions.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Requires the ability to drive vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, replace, or wrap parts and accessories.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform various tasks such as installing, repairing, replacing, or wrapping parts and accessories,
• Ensure that the vehicle customization complies with the safety and legal requirements and standards of the relevant authorities and agencies.
• Test and inspect the vehicle functionality and performance before and after the customization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow the best practices and procedures for vehicle customization.
• Keep track of the inventory and supplies of the tools, equipment, and materials needed for vehicle customization.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and techniques in the vehicle customization industry and attend training and workshops as needed.
• Performs other tasks as required
