You will handle yarn, verify quality during runs, manage winder operations, and assist with creeling. The job requires basic math, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment at our Chatsworth site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training including health and environmental safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet and exceed quality, production, and efficiency goals.
• Function as primary finish application source in yarn conversion with resistance to wear and dimensional stability.
• Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Select and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required.
• Run creeling and winding side when needed.
• Use black light to check for color/mix issues.
• Attend job-related training as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by management.
