Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in heat treatment, metallurgy, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of thermal processing, metallurgy, and material properties.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and resolving production issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize heat treatment processes, including carburizing, induction hardening, quenching, and tempering.
• Conduct and interpret hardness, tensile, and microstructure testing.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot furnaces, quenching systems, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support machining operations, including lathe-related production activities.
• Investigate material defects, process deviations, and quality issues to improve production yield.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, and customer quality standards.
• Train and supervise heat treatment operators and production personnel.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and product quality.
