Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as the Engineering Special Process Owner (SPO) for Heat Treat, airflow, dry film lube, and structural component repair activities.
• Provide technical expertise in Heat Treat processes to support shop operations, aiming to improve delivery, quality, safety, cost, and scrap reduction.
• Coordinate with global peers to leverage best practices, share lessons learned, and implement improvements.
• Industrialize new equipment and processes, including defining resource needs, interpreting Engine Manual, and enhancing manufacturing process flow and digital infrastructure.
• Interpret engineering Engine Manual (EM) and Standard Practice Manual (SPM) requirements, and develop best practices and new repair methods.
• Implement LEAN practices to improve process delivery.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes and shop operations, or a high school diploma/GED with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in heat treat or related processes.
• Knowledge of LEAN, GD&T, Gage R&R, and SPC.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work globally.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and business case development skills.
• Ability to interpret aircraft engine manuals and work with MRO operations.
• Familiarity with digital and IT processes, and MS Office.
